“What is the best multiplatform soundtrack?” – #SoundtrackShowdown Week Twenty

2 min read
Multiplatform games (AT LAUNCH) get their time to shine! What's the best multiplatform video game soundtrack?

“What’s the best multiplatform soundtrack?”

Welcome back to Soundtrack Showdown! Last week was our last home console event, centered on the Nintendo Switch. Congratulations to Octopath Traveler for pulling ahead and snagging the win!

But we’re not done yet!

Here we are right at the end of the 20-week-long Soundtrack Showdown event. It’s been a heckuva ride! But one thing I’ve heard from friends and associates over the past several months is a lot of love for multiplatform releases. So I figured we should acknowledge that!

This week will decide the BEST multiplatform soundtrack. The rules are a little different this time around…

REMINDERS

-Nominations can be left in comments on this blog or on Twitter, just tag @thewellredmage or reply to the threads.

-Please keep it to ONE nomination per person but if your first choice is already taken then feel free to nominate a different soundtrack.

-If you name more than one soundtrack, I’ll have to ruin your day and ask you to choose! 🙂

-We don’t want exclusives. We want multiplatform releases, that is, you must nominate a soundtrack from a game that was released on multiple platforms AT LAUNCH. No timed exclusives, those won’t count.

-This is still a home console focused event so when we say “multiplatform”, we mean multiple consoles.

Let’s go out with a bang! Remember all those multiplatform games I said couldn’t be nominated over the past several weeks? Well, now’s your chance! Go big or go home!

Name ONE soundtrack below or on social media! Share tracks. Tell us what team you’re on. Appreciate the artistry behind the music!
