"MAGE CAST" episode #001 – Sand People

2 min read
Journey was the subject of the very first episode of Mage Cast but like sand, the pod was course and rough and got everywhere.

Secret’s out! It’s finally here!

MAGE CAST has officially launched so 3, 2, 1, let’s jam. You can listen to our very first episode, “Sand People”, on SoundCloud (with more locations like iTunes and Stitcher coming soon). You can also download the podcast, too!

In this primal episode, the founding members of The Well-Red Mage discuss Journey by thatgamecompany, the meaning of minimalism and the risk of superficiality, spirituality and video games, the journey(s) of life and Journey as a mirror, the human need for friendship, and Journey’s place in the gaming industry.

The sound quality isn’t where I want it to be right now, so rest assured I am looking improve with each episode. I am interested in hearing your thoughts, criticisms, suggestions, and recommendations on tech, hosts, and apps! Bring it on, I’m in learning mode!
Please toss a couple likes our direction on SoundCloud, maybe even consider giving us a follow! For now, we plan to publish an episode monthly, so stay tuned for more. Thank you to everyone who has helped us reach this goal!

  1. If there is not a joke about how the Sand People frighten easily but will return in greater numbers, I will be HIGHLY disappointed :p I gave a follow and I’ll be sure to listen to this in a timely manner so I don’t fall behind in the podcasts! Great to see you’re getting this off the ground in a literal sound cloud *exits stage right*
